| La Cañada Golf Club was the first municipal golf course in Andalusia due to an impeccable design by Robert Trent Jones (Holes 10-18) and Dave Thomas (Holes 1-9) and the effort made by caddies and workers from the village of Guadiaro. Challenging fairways, fast greens, large groves of indigenous trees and spectacular views of the Mediterranean make up an ideal course for those who want to bask in the sun and enjoy being surrounded by nature. The golf courses tradition has been combined with the development of junior golf talent. At present, 240 pupils are enrolled at La Cañada Golf Club, which is considered to be the first junior golf school in Andalusia. Due to its long-standing history, the Spanish Golf Federation has decided to hold the European Youths Championship at this venue. Its fantastic Mediterranean style Clubhouse, pride and joy of all Members, an Andalusian style hall holds a beautiful photographic collection of the golf course past and present and La Cañada Golf Club Founder Members. |

Book discounted green fees at La Canada golf course, a quite hilly one but you can still play walking. La Cañada golf is a good course at good value where most of the players go back to play it. The club has the most qualified junior golf school in Andalusia. |

La Cañada golf course directions:
the N-340, take the exit km 133 for Sotogrande & Castellar. From Marbella, it is the one just past Guadiaro. Then follow the sign for Guadiaro on the roundabout, after 200 metres, go left following Guadiaro again and another 200 metres further you will find La Cañada Golf Club on your left.
