Nature abounds at Lauro Golf & Country Club. In all the complex the contact with nature is continuous. Either playing golf, living in the residential or simply going for a walk you can see that we are not the only visitors at Lauro Golf. Rabbits, ducks, partridges, herons and even eagles will be seen along the walk, as they come to benefit from the micro-climate that the high number of trees and the fourteen lakes of the course have created.

Lauro Golf course was designed by Folco Nardi, now deceased, who made it technical but not difficult. The enlargement of Lauro golf course with holes 19 to 27, designed by Mariano Benítez, also requires concentration and cleverness, completing a course which can be played walking as it is mainly flat, although there are two holes at the foot of the mountain which offer us an exceptionnal view of the Guadalhorce Valley and the Mediterranean sea.

The Lauro Golf Club House is located in an ancient Andalusian building, Cortijo El Paredón, which has an excellent service of restaurant but the best of the cortijo is its wonderful patio, in the shadow of a huge centennial rubber plant where players can relax after a good golf game.

Patrizia's comment:	Book discounted green fees at Lauro golf course. The course is in the hills, you may think it is a hilly course and hard to play but it is in fact a very charming quite flat course and enjoyable without a buggy.
